“Imprisoning a Generation,” a documentary film, follows the stories of four young Palestinians detained and imprisoned under Israeli military and political systems. Descriptions of the film indicate about 500 youths are imprisoned each year, with implications beyond their time behind bars. The free film is cosponsored by Community of Reason and Citizens for Justice in the Middle East (CJME). It will be shown Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 pm at UMKC in Haig Hall, Room 301 (park free on level 4 of the parking structure at 52nd Street and Rockhill Road; use the breezeway to Haig Hall). Jamie Jackson of CJME will lead a short discussion of the film.
