This season of Spring has brought revival and vigor to the PWKC community. PeaceWorks KC commissioned a new logo by Gabby Smith of Good Kid Collective. This was the first step in the re-design of PeaceWorks materials.
I like to reflect on each of the leaves on this tree being a new, budding effort in the ever-changing mission of anti-nuclear environmental advocacy.
With this hopeful tree emerging from the remnants of a bomb, we created a business card with a QR code that we distributed at our lobbying meetings in DC. This bright, cheerful logo rings in a new era of advocacy through awareness, education and action.
We look forward to sharing fresh takes on this valuable justice work.
Thank you to those who have consistently supported PeaceWorks over the decades, and welcome to new friends to the movement! I’m grateful to be here, and I’m glad you’re here.
