By Ron Faust
What if we took part in provoking the Ukraine war
By continuing the Cold war
By hate rhetoric for an enemy
By promoting NATO allies
By surrounding the enemy
By building up the military budget
By increasing military devices
By threatening regime change
By displaying a superior attitude
By suggesting the thought of nuclear war
By breaking promises during the Minsk accords
By listening to right-wing Nationalists
By aggravating insecurity in blaming sides?
In the case of Ukraine, how many lives will be lost
Before sides will settle on a peace agreement?
Criminally invading Ukraine on February 24, 2022
Russia could walk away – both sides should
Fatigue and ruination have devastated both sides
Now is an opportunity for urgent diplomacy
Both must negotiate with the enemy, stop the violence
And find enough trust to mediate a peace process.
